PISMO™ (Platform Independent Storage Module), is a standard memory module especially recommended for development platforms (Figure 1) .

In an effort to support various voltages options in systems, PISMO is designed with the flexibility to support an expanded list of Vio voltages including: 3.3v, 3.0v, 2.5v, 1.8v, 1.5v and 1.3v.

STACKABLE DESIGN
Up to four active PISMO™ modules can be stacked with a Fifth logic analyzer module as required . This feature enables higher density support for application developers that need more memory. It also enables quick evaluation of various memory and logic combination such as Flash, PSRAM, SRAM, JAVA accelerators, etc., before committing to tighter integration via MCP or PoP implementations. Up to 4 PISMO™ modules can be stacked (Figure 2) .
DEBUG SUPPORT
Designed with debugging support in mind, PISMO™ modules have a companion Logic Analyzer Module option (Figure 3) which provides easy access to critical control, address, and data signals, enabling users to monitor these signals with logic analyzers. The PISMO™ connector consists of 32 bits data, 26 bits address and 33 bits control/status. The Debug support simplifies the design of the evaluation systems without the added complexity of costly logic-analyzer sockets on every board.
